“ZINEBIDOK”, INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR FEATURE-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILMS. This section will comprise eighteen documentaries shortlisted from among the 163 received. They include the Basque film “La generación del Guernica”, by Steve Bowles, and the Spanish film “Alzados del suelo”, by Andrés Linares.

THE PLACE OF A FILMMAKER. A brief but intense look at the work of the young Portuguese filmmaker Pedro Costa, one of the leading figures in today's European cinema. ZINEBI will screen two feature-length films, "No quarto da Vanda" y "Où gît votre sourire enfoui?", and will exhibit a video installation of his that has been shown in Rotterdam, Sao Paulo, and Vienna.
